On Tuesday, December 8th, the Level Playing Field Institute (LPFI) will host its Annual Fairness Matters Forum at Twitter’s headquarters in San Francisco.  This year’s event will focus on the progress toward diversifying tech and will celebrate those who are working to create a more inclusive tech ecosystem.  Honorees include Slack Technologies Erica Baker and UC Berkeley Teaching Professor Dr. Dan Garcia.

The event will be keynoted by Morehouse College President John Wilson who, during his tenure, has worked to position Morehouse College as a leading force in STEM education with Morehouse being a leader in producing students who go on to earn advanced degrees in science, engineering and medicine.

The evening will also feature remarks from Twitter co-founder and CEO Jack Dorsey.

Fairness Matters Forum is sponsored by Infosys Foundation, Twitter, Kapor Center for Social Impact, Genetech, Twilio, Survey Monkey, Riviera Partners, Ford and Adelante Capital Management. The event is hosted in conjunction with @Blackbirds.
